Ilan M. Feder

Ilan is the founder of DIF-USA, as well as the founder of the established firm D.I.F. Engineering Ldt, based in Israel. He brings over 20 years of experience in the Civil Engineering industry, with a focus on construction and infrastructure.

Ilan studied at the Technion Haifa - The Israeli Institute of Technology. He has been a director and project manager, overseeing entire projects, controls, and audits. He was also a director of joint projects with international energy companies. Ilan is also a mmember of the board, and a previous Treasurer of the Israeli Organization of Consulting Engineers and Architects (IOCEA). He is a certified Israel Bar Association arbitrator, providing expert opinion to arbitration courts.

Cristian S. Vimer, PhD, PE

Cristian relied on his more than 15 years of experience in structural design and management of complex projects when he founded VM Consulting, in NYC in 2011. His expertise is in design of new building structures, but also in renovation, adaptive reuse and preservation of historical buildings; he worked on a variety of projects in the US, as well as in Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia. He has experience with projects funded by government agencies such as HUD (Department of Housing and Urban Development), or NYC HPD (Department of Housing Preservation and Development), as well as with NY Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), or the Port Authority of NY and NJ.

He holds a PhD in Structural Engineering from New York University Polytechnic School of Engineering, and a MS of Construction Management from the Technical University of Civil Engineering, Bucharest, Romania. He has taught for many years at NYU Poly, and he collaborates with the Civil Engineering Department and the Optical Diagnostics Lab at Poly in research related to finding novel infrastructure degradation sensing solutions. He has published work in the NDT&E International.

Erik A. Madsen, PE

Erik is the founder of Madsen Consulting Engineering and has extensive experience in the design and construction of new building structures, adaptive reuse projects, property condition assessment and the design of temporary structures for construction. Erik has worked on buildings from every decade since the mid-1800’s through the present and he continues to develop new methods of assisting designers and owners reach their goals with existing structures.

Mr Madsen worked briefly at Bowman, Barrett & Associates, a renowned bridge design firm in Chicago prior to pursuing his graduate degree in California. He relocated to New York in 2001 and worked at DeSimone Consulting Engineering. Erik has taught at a number of schools and universities, and he is currently a visiting professor at Pratt Institute.

Following the 2010 earthquake in Haiti, Erik volunteered and performed building assessments on a large number of structures, including an 11-story reinforced concrete building that was the second tallest in the Haitian capital, Port Au Prince. He continues to volunteer structural engineering services part time for reconstruction projects in Haiti, South America and Africa.


Nessi Avinoam

Nessi boasts cumulative experience of 16 years in management and supervision of public construction projects. He is a seasoned coordinator with planners, authorities, permit-issuers, contractors, and site supervisors. He is the head of the final audit team.

Vladimir Donskoi

Vlad is a Senior Engineer with extensive experience in building and civil engineering, having overseen and managed large and complex projects.

Gideon Groen

Gideon is an experienced engineer, with international experience in creating business relationships and development opportunities. His expertise lies in the control and auditing of organizational processes.

Dorit Bar

Dorit holds an MA in Geography and Environment Studies, and works as our Director of Engineering Controls and Senior Planner for Road Infrastructure.

Miki Avraham

Miki in an Architect who owns Abraham Architects and Urban Planners Ltd., which was founded by his grandfather in 1933. He integrates passed-down knowledge of over 75 years with the most modern materials and technologies.

Dani Givon

Dani is our Electrical Engineer licensed to make and review all electrical plans and oversee any electrical work. He brings extensive experience in telecommunications, telemetry, command and control, integration, and project management.

Cristian Vidrascu

Cristian has over 10 years of experience in US federal government contracting, having contributed to projects for the Department of Labor, USAID, the Department of Defense, and the US Army Corps of Engineers.
